BT Financial Group took part in the Made in Romania Gala, organized by the Bucharest Stock Exchange, on April 3. Made in Romania is a BT-supported project, a first in the history of the capital market, with the goal of identifying and supporting companies.

The project unfolded in several stages:

• February 6–22 – Submission of nominations by entrepreneurs as well as by the Nomination Committee
• February 22–27 – Selection of the 50 companies that advanced to the next stage
• March 18–19 – Public vote to decide the “People’s Choice” company
• March 17 – Jury selection of the 14 finalists
• April 3 – Awards Gala

The 15 finalist companies were announced at the gala, which brought together more than 100 Romanian entrepreneurs and CEOs, alongside members of the Nomination Committee and the jury.

The Made in Romania project continues: the selected companies will take part in a mentoring program developed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange and its partners.
