Banca Transilvania and Transilvania Executive Education (TEE) announce the launch of a new competition for two partial scholarships for the TEE Executive MBA – General Management, a 100% British program accredited by the University of Buckingham. Their total value is EUR 19,000. The competition’s media partner, again this year, is Republica.ro.

BT is awarding two scholarships, the Roberto Marzanati Scholarships, each covering 50% of tuition.

The Executive MBA starts on February 8, 2025 and comprises 12 modules: Leadership; HR; Economics; Marketing; Finance; Strategy; Operations Management; Systems Thinking; Complexity; Corporate Governance and Business Ethics; Consulting; and Digital Transformation. Classes are taught by faculty from universities in Europe and the United States. Sessions are held every six weeks over 18 months. The degree is awarded by the University of Buckingham.

Applicants must have at least three years of professional experience after graduating, in a management position, and an advanced level of English.

Timeline: 

• November 1–30, 2024: Application period
• December 2–12, 2024: Candidate evaluation
• December 13: Scholarship winners announced on the Transilvania Executive Education website and social media channels.

To enter the competition, the following are required: 

• Complete the competition application form available on the TEE website, including: 
  • a business plan, using the template in the application form;
  • an academic essay answering the question: How can executive education help transform Romanian businesses? 
• A CV in English, or include the link to your LinkedIn profile in the application email. We recommend that the CV include all professional, academic and community achievements.
• Two letters of recommendation, in English, from a business partner or an employer.
• Send the above documents to office@teecluj.ro by November 30 this year (inclusive).

Roberto Marzanati (1950–2016) served on the Board of Directors of Banca Transilvania for 15 years, starting in 2001. In recognition of his contribution to BT’s success, the scholarships offered by Banca Transilvania for EMBA programs bear his name.
