Luminița Runcan has received approval from the National Bank of Romania to serve as Chief Executive Officer of OTP Bank Romania and has been mandated by Banca Transilvania to coordinate the integration of OTP Romania into the BT Group.

Over her extensive banking career, Luminița Runcan has held a number of management roles at Banca Transilvania, including Deputy CEO for Treasury and Deputy CEO for Risk Management. She also serves on the boards of several BT Group companies, and is President of the Romanian Financial Markets Association, Vice President of the Romanian Association of Banks, and Treasurer at AmCham Romania. She is one of Banca Transilvania’s first 13 employees, having made a significant contribution since BT’s early days.
