BT campaign for students: between October 1 and 31, 2017, they can sign up for BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking and get 12 months free of charge.

Students who already have BT24 Internet Banking can get BT24 Mobile Banking free for 12 months. You can activate this service from the BT24 Internet Banking menu by selecting “Online Services” and then “Mobile Banking subscription.” Those who have not activated BT24 at all can do so at any BT branch.

Over 900,000 BT customers use Internet Banking and over 300,000 use Mobile Banking. Key BT24 features include: current and card account information, transactions and statements, as well as details on deposits and loans; bill payments; foreign exchange between your own accounts; enabling SMS Alert; adding or changing card transaction limits; card PIN reissue; prepaid mobile top-ups; purchase of road vignettes; card blocking/unblocking; online tracking of transactions in progress; payments in RON and foreign currency; sending and receiving money via Western Union; opening term deposits; scheduling payments — including to the state budget; opening RON and foreign currency accounts online, in real time; online management of BT Asset Management fund units; checking and transferring STAR loyalty points; and loan simulations.
