Vlad Micu has been appointed CEO of INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A., a Banca Transilvania Group company

Vlad Micu has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Management Board of INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A, the newest company in the Banca Transilvania Group, which will specialise in managing alternative investment funds.

With nearly 30 years’ experience, Vlad Micu has held various management roles in corporate banking, investment banking, trade finance and business development at several banks in Romania. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of leasing companies and investment firms (SSIFs). He joined the Banca Transilvania team 6 years ago,  with responsibilities for coordinating corporate lending. He holds an Executive MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

We aim to grow our alternative investment fund management business — a market with potential in Romania, but still at an early stage of development compared with open-ended investment funds or the EU markets specialised in this segment. We see significant medium- and long-term growth prospects in private equity and venture capital, which can be supported, for example, by creating thematic funds or sector-focused funds. This approach will allow us to continue supporting local entrepreneurial initiatives throughout their development, from seed money, through follow-on financing rounds, to stock exchange listings, complementing the Banca Transilvania Group’s range of financial products and services.

INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A. underwent a rebranding in June 2025, having previously been OTP Asset Management România S.A.I. S.A., acquired by the Banca Transilvania Group in October 2024, as part of the purchase of all OTP Group entities in Romania.
