The latest TV and online ad from Banca Transilvania and Mastercard — STAR Card: uninterrupted shopping sprees — features Lionel Messi. This start-of-year campaign continues the series of commercials showcasing role models, as did the campaigns with Simona Halep.

Lionel Messi is one of the world’s most beloved athletes, with tens of millions of fans, and a role model who inspires children and young people to take up sport.

Banca Transilvania’s customers prefer the STAR Card for online and in-store purchases. There are over 500,000 of these cards in customers’ wallets and on their phones. STAR Card is a credit card with loyalty benefits at more than 12,000 merchants participating in the STAR program, and features that are unique in Romania.
