At the Top Elite Companies Gala, hosted by Capital magazine, Romania’s leading companies were celebrated and top performers in each sector received awards.

In the Banks and Insurance category, Banca Transilvania won the award for Top-Performing Romanian Company.

Ramona Prejban, BT Regional Director for Bucharest, said:

While performance is typically measured in numbers, KPIs and even awards, for us it has taken the form of our ability to adapt, whatever the context. We’ve been doing this for 30 years and we intend to keep doing it, because we know that each of the products and services that we, the BT team, provide translates into dreams fulfilled, support for entrepreneurship and financing for companies that are already well-established.

Banca Transilvania is the largest bank in Romania and in Southeast Europe by total assets; at the end of the first half of this year, they stood at RON 140.1 billion.
