Banca Transilvania received four awards at the Mastercard - Bank of the Year Gala:

• Bank of the Year – for the results achieved in 2022;

  
  

• Banker of the Year – for Ӧmer Tetik, Chief Executive Officer;

  
  

• Best loyalty program by a financial institution – for the Star program, with over 22,000 partner locations where BT shopping cardholders can pay in interest-free installments or earn Star points for their purchases. BT customers who don’t yet have a shopping card can easily get one in a few minutes in the BT Pay app. They can start paying right away by phone or online, with all card details available in the app, and manage it entirely in the app as well.

  
  

• Best digital onboarding flow.

The awards were decided based on the results of the competition organized by Mastercard and the publication wall-street.ro, together with a jury made up of representatives from the business and academic communities.
