Banca Transilvania is taking part in two new tree-planting initiatives in Cluj County, continuing to invest in the environment and the community through financial support and volunteering:

• Planting 10,000 saplings across 3 hectares in the village of Suarăș, Bobâlna commune, in partnership with the Beard Brothers Association, on April 5. Last year, 21,000 trees were planted in the same area with the help of around 400 volunteers.
  
  
• Planting 10,000 saplings at Electric Castle Village, Bonțida commune, in partnership with the Electric Castle team. The EC campground is being turned into a greener space through tree-planting organized every year, and Banca Transilvania has been involved in this project since 2023.

Since 2014, the bank has invested over 540,000 euros in programs dedicated to tree-planting nationwide. More than 13,500 volunteers have taken part, planting approximately 400,000 saplings across nearly 100 hectares of land, now turned into forests.
