Banca Transilvania supports the Cartierul Creativ initiative, launched by The Institute and the Cartierul Creativ Association in June this year to revitalise five areas of Bucharest:
- Amzei
- Sala Palatului - Brezoianu Street - Regina Elisabeta Boulevard
- Buzești - Berzei Street - General H.M. Berthelot Street
- Grivița - Știrbei Vodă Street - General H.M. Berthelot Street - Luterană Street
- Revolution Square - Calea Victoriei - Regina Elisabeta Boulevard
Over the coming months, all these areas will become new cultural destinations by activating the creative industries and organisations, with initiatives such as exhibitions, workshops, studios and fairs.
"Community involvement has always been at the core of BT's strategy, alongside attention to entrepreneurs' needs. Our partnership with The Institute strengthens our engagement with the creative community, with Piața Amzei as the most recent urban regeneration project for such a versatile space in the centre of Bucharest. The programmes and actions set to bring life back to Piața Amzei are meant to give Bucharesters one of the city's most emblematic public spaces back, while at the same time providing a platform that invites the creative industries to contribute and get involved", Sergiu Mircea, Executive Director, Marketing and Communication, Banca Transilvania.
