Following the analysis by Sustainalytics, Banca Transilvania has received a very good ESG Risk Rating, Low Risk. This is the third consecutive year in which BT has received such a rating.

The rating is 13.3, compared with 15.1 (in 2023) and 17 (in 2022), placing the bank 91st among the 1,000 banks assessed.

The assessment criteria take into account international standards and frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures, or the World Economic Forum.

Sustainalytics is one of the largest global ESG ratings providers, assessing companies’ exposure to industry-specific ESG (environmental, social and governance) risks and how they manage those risks.
