Banca Transilvania’s latest internship programme was a success: 26 of the 30 participants have been hired by BT, in Digital Banking and IT.

The internship ran from September 1–30 this year, at BT’s Head Office, and was aimed at undergraduates and master’s students in technical fields, mathematics and computer science, and business informatics, as well as people who have completed IT bootcamps.

There were over 300 applications, from which 30 people were selected for the internship. They had the chance to learn from experienced BT teams about technologies such as .NET, PHP, Java, React, DevOps, QA automation, manual QA, RPA & chatbots, and iOS.

The programme was organised to help young people take part in hands-on learning and integrate into the labour market in high‑potential fields. For the bank, internships and student placements are part of its commitment to responsible growth through investment in education and preparing the next generations. 

With more than 9,000 employees, Banca Transilvania is one of the largest employers in Romania.
