A new cohort of participants starts the 100% British Executive MBA programme on 9 February this year, accredited by the University of Buckingham and delivered in Cluj-Napoca by Transilvania Executive Education.

Nearly 20 managers and entrepreneurs work in sectors such as banking and finance, IT, marketing, energy, aviation and packaging, among others. The average age is 39, and average management experience is 16 years. Three of the participants are scholarship recipients from Banca Transilvania and Evergent Investments. TEE Executive MBA scholarships total 30,000 euro — the BT Roberto Marzanati Scholarship, at 15,000 euro, fully covers the cost of the programme, while the Evergent Investments scholarships are 7,500 euro each.

Starting this year, the Executive MBA has a new academic partner, the University of Buckingham. Three new modules have been added to the curriculum — Corporate governance and business ethics; Disruptive strategies in emerging economic models; and Innovation in the business environment. Courses are taught by international and Romanian experts with both academic and business backgrounds.

Babeș-Bolyai University, Banca Transilvania and Electrogrup launched Transilvania Executive Education in 2015. Over the years, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Emerson, Endava, the British-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and the Romanian-Dutch Chamber of Commerce have joined. Over time, TEE has built a community of more than 200 alumni — entrepreneurs and managers from more than 50 companies in Romania and abroad.
