Entrepreneurs working with Banca Transilvania can sign online, via BT eSign, loan agreements and amendments for loans not secured by real estate collateral. It is the latest BT solution for remote banking.

The electronic signature is free of charge, and signatories can also include resident individuals who are not BT clients but act as co-borrowers or guarantors.

BT eSign was launched in November 2021 and has been in a pilot phase until now. Since then, more than 200 clients who have used this solution have signed over 300 loan agreements and amendments – for the origination, extension or restructuring of a loan.

It has been well received both by clients keen to adopt digital solutions and by those who were abroad or in isolation due to the pandemic.
