Banca Transilvania is launching new options for the BT Pay app, so customers have ever more ways to manage their cards and money easily and around the clock on their phone.

The new BT Pay features are:

• Tracking purchases and card payments by category;
• Setting transaction limits for BT physical cards and those enrolled in BT Pay (digital) for in-store and online payments, as well as for cash withdrawals at Banca Transilvania ATMs;
• Temporarily or permanently blocking BT digital and physical cards;
• Paying the credit card with the minimum or maximum amount due monthly – automatically, on the due date or at any time;
• Access to offers for those using BT Pay and Fitbit: by connecting a Fitbit account, users will find surprise BT offers they can access based on how many steps they walk and their use of BT Pay. The initial offers are: double STAR points for credit card payments via BT Pay, a discount on Snowfest 2019 packages and free incident insurance.

The BT Pay app can be downloaded free from Google Play Store or App Store, on Android and iOS smartphones, and lets users add their Banca Transilvania card(s) in digital form.

Since launch, in January this year, the application has been downloaded 180,000 times. The number of payments by phone at merchants and money transfers between app users rose by 35% in the third quarter compared with the previous one.
