BT Capital Partners, Banca Transilvania, BCR and BRD-SG are offering for sale, starting today, July 15, government bonds for retail investors issued by the Ministry of Public Finance, in lei and, for the first time, euro-denominated bonds, which will be automatically listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The bonds are part of the Fidelis programme, relaunched alongside the Tezaur programme, which similarly raises funds from individuals in lei but is not listed on the stock exchange.

• Resident and non-resident individuals aged 18 or over by the offer closing date, inclusive, may invest in the Fidelis government bond offering.
• The offer runs from July 15 to August 7 this year, and the minimum subscription is 5,000 lei or 1,000 euro.
• The coupon rates are: 4% per year for the lei tranche with a 2-year maturity; 4.5% per year for the lei tranche with a 4-year maturity; and 2% per year for the euro tranche with a 5-year maturity.
• Maturities are 2 and 4 years for lei, and 5 years for euro.
