The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing Banca Transilvania with EUR 75 million to co-finance SME projects in Romania. This is the first tranche of a EUR 150 million loan, earmarked for BT and entrepreneurs.

The EIB financing, in cooperation with Banca Transilvania, will support the investment needs of 3,000 businesses and help generate 37,000 new jobs.

The European Investment Bank is the bank of the European Union. The EIB provides long-term financing within the European Union, as well as expertise for investment projects that help advance the EU’s objectives.
