Banca Transilvania, the leading bank in IMM INVEST, has started approving loans under the programme. Over 5,000 companies have chosen BT as their partner bank so far this year. BT Financial Group is ready to take on requests under the programme’s other components as well, AGRO IMM INVEST, IMM Factoring and IMM Leasing.

In 2021, changes to the programme broadened the categories of eligible beneficiaries, so liberal professions, sole traders (PFA), family enterprises and those engaged in agricultural activities can apply for financing.

The IMM INVEST programme facilitates access to finance for small and medium-sized businesses affected by the pandemic. The state guarantees up to 90% of the loan amount, and the guarantee can be granted for up to 72 months. Beneficiaries can cumulate state‑guaranteed financing up to a cap of 10 million lei, of which up to 5 million lei for working capital.

IMM INVEST and BT brought almost 4.5 billion lei into the economy last year

In 2020, through the IMM INVEST programme and Banca Transilvania, more than 10,000 loans were granted, bringing almost 4.5 billion lei into the economy and supporting approximately 100,000 jobs.

For the bank, IMM INVEST also meant nearly 3,000 new clients, with a third of the companies financed receiving their first financing from Banca Transilvania.
