Euromoney named Banca Transilvania Best Bank in Romania for its 2019 results. Euromoney cited BT’s profitability, balanced growth and solid capital base among the metrics it valued.

Banca Transilvania posted positive results in 2019, another year in which it made a strong contribution to the economy through 223,000 loans granted to companies and individuals. Companies received more than 10.5 billion lei in financing, with the bank supporting their development, economic growth and job creation in sectors such as manufacturing, trade, IT, healthcare, agriculture and construction. More than 9,600 Romanians bought homes with the help of Banca Transilvania.

This is the fourth time BT has received this title, after 2017, 2016 and 2004.
