● Over 5,500 discounts, fee waivers and benefits on BT products and services ●
Black Friday becomes Bank Friday at Banca Transilvania tomorrow, on 17 November. The online banking shopping campaign BANK Friday will run on the bank’s website, on Twitter and on Instagram for 12 hours, from 8:00 to 20:00.
BANK Friday means discounts, fee waivers and other benefits on limited stock of BT Group products and services for individuals and businesses: loans, cards, overdrafts, a payment sticker, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, car leasing and operational leasing.
This year’s BANK Friday campaign brings a first: two products — the BT Pay sticker and the BT Visa Electron card personalised with a photo — can be obtained exclusively via social media, on Twitter and Instagram.
Details:
- BANK Friday includes a limited number of each product and service in the offer.
- The BANK Friday offer is also open to people who are not BT customers.
- You can order multiple products and services as part of the campaign.
- A few examples of BANK Friday discounts and benefits: the personal needs loan with insurance, for those who have their income paid into a BT account: interest of 7.5% instead of 9.5%; the STAR Forte shopping card: 90 STAR bonus points + 10 points on the first purchase, the equivalent of RON 100; the BT Flying Blue travel card: zero issuance fee + a bonus of 10,000 Miles for the Classic card and 15,000 Miles for the Premium card on the first purchase.
- The BT Pay sticker can be ordered on Twitter, with no issuance fee. It is an accessory that can replace your card for purchases and was launched by the bank recently.
- The personalised photo card will be available only on Instagram. It comes with a RON 30 gift, and the issuance fee is zero.

Banca Transilvania launched the banking shopping concept in 2014, a first on the market. These are themed campaigns inspired by trends or different events: Bank Friday, DragoBT, Banksylvania, Un Mai Muncitoresc, BaBeTe, Bankschet and Bank to School. These are BT sub-brands and part of its creative marketing and communications strategy.
