Banca Transilvania was named Bank of the Year in the card market at the NoCash Gala. At the same event, BT also received the award for Best Business Card Adoption and the Shopping Card of the Year award — the STAR Forte credit card — for its 2017 performance.

The number of transactions made with the BT MasterCard Star Forte shopping card in 2017 exceeded 12,850,000, and the total value of those transactions was over 1,800 million lei.

As for business cards, in 2017 BT recorded an annual average of 55.5 transactions per card and an average annual spend per card of over 17,000 lei.

This is the fifth consecutive year, and the ninth overall, in which BT has received the Bank of the Year award in the card market.

The NoCash Gala reached its 17th edition this year.
