Banca Transilvania is launching the business app BT Go, through which it is exploring new ways to support entrepreneurs with banking and business solutions.  

Some of the BT Go features in this pilot phase: 

• Online opening of RON and foreign-currency current accounts;
• Money transfers between own accounts and to business partners;
• View transactions and generate account statements;
• Invoice issuance and payment;
• Upload documents — invoices, receipts, contracts.

Typically, using standard banking apps, companies manage their accounts: they make payments, exchange currencies and review transactions. With BT Go, we are building with day-to-day business operations in mind, adding features for running the company — from cash and accounts to invoices. We are approaching this step gradually — exploring, testing and implementing. We look at needs through entrepreneurs’ eyes, which gives us a better chance of creating something useful. Today, the bank’s clients can use several apps developed by BT over the years. Gradually, as BT Go grows in terms of features and users, it will become our bank’s main app for companies, says Tiberiu Moisă, Deputy CEO, SME & MidCorporate, Banca Transilvania.

In recent years, the bank has built up its in-house capability to deliver more and more digital solutions for clients, such as the BT Go app, to which nearly 50 people from the bank and from Finshape contributed.

The pre-launch phase of BT Go saw over 1,000 clients successfully onboarded.
