Banca Transilvania takes another step towards digitalization with the launch of the Online Loan, designed to finance personal projects. BT individual customers can obtain up to EUR 5,000, in RON equivalent, within one day of submitting their online application on BT’s website. The interest rate is fixed, and the loan term is 1 to 5 years.

The process is streamlined compared with a standard loan and involves applying and receiving BT’s offer online, followed by booking a visit to the bank to sign the documentation.

Details on obtaining an Online Loan:

• The applicant applies for an Online Loan on BT’s website. They can create a personal account where they have access to a loan simulator and details on the status of their loan application.
• Banca Transilvania will notify the applicant — including via SMS — when the offer has been sent; the offer can be viewed on BT’s website, on the Online Loan page, in the personal account.
• The applicant can book an appointment online, choosing the preferred location and time, to sign the documentation at Banca Transilvania.

Those who are not BT customers and wish to apply for the Online Loan can open a current account online during the application process for the newest BT product; the account will be activated when they come to the bank.
