Banca Transilvania is launching an online hub for research, where macroeconomic analysis reports are available; access is either directly on the site or by email, on a subscription basis.

The reports cover current macro-financial developments in Romania, the Eurozone, the US and the global economy, as well as short- and medium-term outlooks and trends. Preparing them involves collecting information, processing it and synthesizing the results, highlighting the factors that influence the behavior of markets, sectors and the economy as a whole.

Through these publications, BT contributes to the financial education of the general public, helping people make better‑informed investment and spending decisions. Since 2014, when the research service was launched, more than 4,500 such reports have been produced.

Depending on the topic, the reports are as follows:

• BT Daily: a summary of the main macro-financial developments in Romania, the Eurozone and the US;
• BT Monthly: a summary of external and domestic macro-financial developments, together with the updated baseline macroeconomic scenario for the Romanian economy;
• BT Macro Focus: analysis of developments in the main indicators of the Romanian economy;
• BT Update: a monthly analysis of Romania’s banking sector;
• BT Government Securities: developments and the outlook for Romania’s government securities market.
