Banca Transilvania is holding a new online banking shopping event, Bank to School, on September 18–19 this year. The campaign brings discounts and benefits for adults and children alike, and you can apply exclusively on the bank’s website, whether you are already a BT customer or you want to start banking with Banca Transilvania.

“Bank to School is for adults and children alike—parents, teachers and kids—for those who want to be as prepared as possible for the start of the school year. It’s a time to celebrate and to shop, which inspired us. Emotions bring ideas, and ideas bring campaigns,” said Sergiu Mircea, Marketing and Communication Director, Banca Transilvania.

Details of the Bank to School offer:

• Having your child’s allowance paid into Banca Transilvania + a personalized debit card with the photo of your choice: RON 100 as a gift credited to the card and zero issuance fee;
• BT contactless wristband: RON 30 as a gift, loaded directly onto the wristband, and zero issuance fee;
• Star Forte card: earns 100 points (10 at the first purchase + 90 bonus) for the primary card and 50 points (10 at the first purchase + 40 bonus) for an additional card;
• BT Flying Blue travel card: zero issuance fee; a welcome bonus on the first purchase with the card of 2,000 or 4,000 Miles, depending on the version chosen, Classic or Premium. You can also win two round-trip airline tickets to one of the following destinations: Amsterdam, Rome or Paris;
• Personal loan with life and unemployment insurance, fixed rate for the entire term: 8.5% p.a. if your income is paid into BT, or 9.5% p.a. otherwise;
• 24‑month fixed‑rate deposit: 1.5% p.a. for savings in RON, and 0.5% p.a. for savings in euro;
• AEGON Fii Sigur insurance: if you also take out additional cover for a co‑insured minor child, it comes with a surprise gift for the child;
• Groupama home insurance: those who apply by the end of November this year for a BT mortgage/home loan and have the home insurance policy issued benefit from a 30% discount in the first year.

The online banking shopping events launched by Banca Transilvania — Bank to School, Bank Friday, DragoBT, Un Mai Muncitoresc, BaBeTe and BANKschet — are firsts on Romania’s banking market.
