Banca Transilvania a obținut și în acest un ESG Risk Rating foarte bun, Low Risk, în urma analizei Sustainalytics.

Sustainalytics is one of the largest global providers of ESG ratings, which analyses a company's exposure to industry specific ESG (environmental, social, governance) risks and the way companies manage those risks.

Detalii despre rating-ul BT:

• Is 15.1 (2023) compared to 17 (2022) - Low Risk in both years;
• Ranks BT 106th (up from 133 in 2022) out of 1,000 banks analyzed globally;
• It analysed the following issues: corporate governance, integration of ESG factors into the business model, quality and sustainability of products and services offered to customers, data privacy and security, business ethics and human capital development;
• The analysis criteria took into account 10 international standards and frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and the World Economic Forum.
• This is the second independent external ESG assessment of BT.

Sustainalytics noted the progress made by Banca Transilvania in the following areas:

• estimarea amprentei de carbon a portofoliului de credite în 2022;
• Decreasing the carbon intensity as a result of the actions carried out over the last 3 years;
• sustainable financing initiatives for retail clients, SMEs and large corporates;
• guvernanța ofertei de produse și servicii;
• gestionarea securității cibernetice și protecția datelor;
• initiatives implemented for the team’s development;
• responsible marketing policy.
