Banca Transilvania is an Official Partner of the 2017 Petrom European Artistic Gymnastics Championships (Men’s and Women’s), which will be held from 19 to 23 April at the Cluj-Napoca Polyvalent Hall. Nadia Comaneci, Honorary President of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, is the ambassador for the event.

This is the first time in 60 years that the competition has been held in Romania. Nearly 300 gymnasts from almost 40 countries are expected.

The gymnasts on the national team who will represent Romania at the championships are: Marian Dragulescu, Cristian Bataga, Vlad Cotuna, Robert Ghiuzan, Laurentiu Nistor, Andrei Ursache; Olivia Cimpian, Ioana Crisan, Larisa Iordache, Catalina Ponor.

Gymnastics is a new sport that Banca Transilvania supports, alongside basketball, tennis and running.
