Banca Transilvania has received the Silver PR Award for external and internal communications around the integration of Bancpost into the BT Financial Group. The integration was the bank’s most ambitious programme in 2018 and culminated in the merger on 31 December 2018.

The award follows entry into a competition that attracted 400 projects. The jury was international, from 11 countries, and included communications directors from various companies, consultants, and representatives of academia and of the professional organizations Arthur W. Page Society, ARRP, CIPR, PROI Worldwide and Legeion.

BT received a similar award in 2016, for communications about the integration of Volksbank Romania into the Banca Transilvania Financial Group.

The PR Award Gala reached its 17th edition and was held in Bucharest on 21 November at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, organized by Forum for International Communications.
