Banca Transilvania received two awards at Wall-street’s “30 Years of Capitalism in Romania” gala, held in Bucharest on November 19:

• All in on capitalism – a bet on the development of domestic capitalism
• Supporter of financial education and saving

The bank was represented by Sergiu Mircea, Coordinating Director, Marketing & Communication, and by Laura Petrehus, Deputy Director, PR & Communication.

The event celebrated 30 years of capitalism in Romania and was dedicated to the business community. Awards went to the companies, individuals and cities that have contributed most to the country’s economy, to what Romania is today.

Banca Transilvania is today the market leader in banking and the largest supporter of the Romanian economy. BT has a market share of over 16%, around 3 million customers, 500 branches, as well as digital self-service banking solutions.
