Banca Transilvania and the MaiMultVede Association are organizing a volunteer event on Saturday, November 5, to plant the Enterprising People’s Forest. A three-hectare oak planting will take place in Jegalia, Stefan cel Mare commune, Calarasi County.

This is BT’s second reforestation initiative this year, part of the “BT, a friend to the environment” strategy. For the bank, it is another step in encouraging volunteering and responsible community involvement.

• Volunteers can sign up HERE by Thursday, November 3, 12:00.
• After registering, volunteers will receive details such as the departure time and meeting point, schedule, etc.
• With the help of volunteers, 20,000 oak saplings will be planted.

In 2014–2016, Banca Transilvania and the Tasuleasa Social Association ran three large-scale tree‑planting events for the Transilvania Forest, between Cluj and Bistrita-Nasaud counties, which meant 120,000 saplings, 30 hectares of new forest and the involvement of almost 5,000 volunteers.
