Banca Transilvania launches BANK Friday today, a new online banking shopping campaign. Since the start of the pandemic, BT has launched five such campaigns to increase customers’ access to borrowing for the plans they have during this period.

BANK Friday runs November 6–15 this year, with BT’s best offers of the year on some of the most in-demand products and services: home loans, personal loans, credit cards, business credit cards, overdrafts, car leasing, BT Pay and insurance. The bank also has an online offer specifically for physicians — the professional needs loan.

For example, the variable interest rate on residential mortgage loans in lei is 4.56% (IRCC + 2.39% p.a.), with zero application fee and the PAD policy offered by Groupama free for one year. For the personal loan with life and unemployment insurance, the rate is fixed at 6.99%, and the application fee is zero. If the personal loan is taken out together with the STAR credit card, the rate is fixed at 6.49%, and the card comes with 250 STAR points for a credit line of at least 2,000 lei and card purchases of at least 500 lei by December 31, 2020.

With other Black Friday campaigns coming up at various merchants, Banca Transilvania has prepared on the Intreb BT online platform how-to information for optimal card management, such as changing the transaction limit, enrolling a card in 3D Secure for online payments, as well as other details about the bank’s products and services used to pay for online purchases. For information about accounts, products and services, customers can use the Livia de la BT chatbot. In addition, two of the newest features of the BT Pay super-app help make online shopping as easy as possible: access in the app to each card’s details - number, expiry date and CVV - and biometric authentication or using the phone’s unlock method.
