On January 28 this year, Banca Transilvania signed the documentation to acquire the performing retail loan portfolio from Bank of Cyprus. For Banca Transilvania, this agreement is an opportunity to expand its performing loan portfolio and its customer base.

BT will announce details of the transaction at the end of February this year, when the deal is due to close.

BT’s focus this year is on organic growth, while also pursuing acquisition opportunities.
