 BT Capital Partners, the investment banking and capital markets arm of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group and Oaklins’ exclusive member in Romania, advised the Eurolines Group on the largest exit in Romanian tourism.

As part of the transaction, Dragos Anastasiu, one of the pioneers of Romanian entrepreneurship, was advised by the BT Capital Partners team on the sale of the Eurolines Group’s travel operations to Der Touristik Group, the tourism division of the German group Rewe — a landmark deal for Romanian tourism that brings the first major global strategic tour operator onto the local market. The project team included Nina Pirvu, Director, Investment Banking & Capital Markets, Dragos Darabut, manager, and Bogdan Baldovin, analyst.
