BT is implementing three EU co-financed projects to support education and vocational training

Banca Transilvania is implementing three new projects co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), under the 2021-2027 Education and Employment Programme (PEO). These initiatives aim to help young people acquire the skills needed for the labour market and to improve the accessibility and quality of vocational and technical education in Romania.

  • Internships and training for valuable professionals”, MySMIS code 311074, dedicated to students in vocational and technical education, who will benefit from internship and mentoring programmes to develop the skills they need for their future careers. The project's objective is to increase the relevance of vocational training for 268 students by organising 444 internships with employers. The total project budget is over 2.4 million lei (2,451,935.40 lei), of which the amount of support is over 2.3 million lei (2,341,464.36 lei). The partner in this project is Colegiul Economic ”Costin C. Kirițescu”.

  • „Good experiences keep us together”, MySMIS code 311108, whose general objective is to increase the relevance of vocational training for 400 students by organising 400 internships with employers, helping them improve their professional skills and adaptability to the dynamics of the labour market. The total project budget is over 4.9 million lei (4,927,283.60 lei), of which the value of the financial support is over 4.8 million lei (4,680,917.62 lei).

  • „From the classroom to the Bank – First steps towards discovering your career”, MySMIS code 311736, facilitates students’ transition from education to the labour market and aims to improve the quality of professional training through participation in internships organised by BT, with the objective of increasing the relevance of vocational training for 400 students by organising 400 internships. The total project budget is 4,929,602.00 lei, of which the value of the financial support is 4,683,120.20 lei.

1,068 high school and university students will have the opportunity to take part in an internship at Banca Transilvania. The total value of the projects is over 12 million lei (12,308,821 lei), with EU support amounting to over 11 million lei (11,705,502.18 lei). The projects are aligned with the European Union’s priorities for implementing the European Pillar of Social Rights, which aims to advance fairness and inclusion. They also seek to improve the quality and labour-market relevance of education, promote digital and entrepreneurial skills, and integrate dual training programmes.
