Banca Transilvania extends a EUR 40 million loan to Omnia Europe, one of the leading corn starch producers and owner of the largest starch plant in Romania and South-Eastern Europe, headquartered in Medgidia (Constanța).

The financing is intended to support the expansion of operations by establishing a new production facility.

Half of the loan amount, representing EUR 20 million, is guaranteed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the Risk Sharing Framework with Banca Transilvania.
