Banca Transilvania ranks 9th in the Top 100 Most Valuable Companies in Romania. The ranking has been compiled for the past 11 years by Ziarul Financiar and BT Capital Partners, and this year’s edition was published on November 24.

BT’s results for the first nine months confirm the positive trend seen at the start of the year and the 2016 budget. Banca Transilvania’s operating income reached RON 2,125.4 million, and net profit RON 657 million. At Group level, operating income reached RON 2,240.4 million and net profit RON 698 million. The bank’s assets stand at RON 48.14 billion, net loans total RON 26.4 billion, and customer deposits RON 39 billion. Banca Transilvania continues to develop at group level together with its subsidiaries, which are performing well in the markets where they operate: investment banking, leasing, asset management, operating leasing, consumer finance, etc.

The most valuable companies in Romania were valued in total at EUR 60.5 billion, up 5% from last year.
