The net profit of BT Leasing (BTL), a company of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group and among the top ten on Romania’s leasing market, is up +33% in the first nine months of the year compared with December 2016, reaching 15.4 million lei.

“Our focus this year has been developing the network through which we offer leasing products, based on cross-selling with Banca Transilvania and partnerships with authorized vehicle and equipment dealers. Making the BTL offering available directly in BT branches and agencies, as well as in auto dealers’ showrooms, is doubling business volumes”, says Ionut Morar, CEO, BT Leasing.

BT Leasing financial highlights:

• Net profit: +33%, reaching 15.4 million lei (September 2017 vs December 2016);
• Total assets: +45%, to almost 700 million lei (September 2017 vs December 2016);
• Total leasing volumes: +43%, to almost 425 million lei (September 2017 vs September 2016);
• Number of customers: +40% (September 2017 vs December 2016);
• BT Leasing’s growth engine is auto leasing, which accounts for 75% of total financing.

This year, BT Leasing has attracted new customer segments, relaunched its consumer leasing product and developed fast-track financing products for amounts of up to 40,000 euros, which are also accessible to start-ups.
