BT Leasing (BTL) launches Drive Green, a financing offer for new or used electric or hybrid cars, for individuals.

With reduced interest and fees through the end of the year, BTL aims through this campaign to encourage the use of environmentally friendly, energy‑efficient cars.

Offer details:

• Fixed interest rate: 3.5% in euro; zero monthly fee; down payment of 20–50%;
• Maximum lease term: 5 years;
• The leasing fee is 150 euro + VAT, and the logistics services fee is 190 euro + VAT;
• Includes a complete package of services: insurance and registration;
• The applicant’s total financial obligations (loan instalments plus lease instalments and insurance) must be no more than 20% of total income as per the ANAF tax statement, or no more than 25% if the income is in euro or indexed to euro;
• For used cars, the age may not exceed 8 years at the end of the lease term.

Example: If the car’s value is 29,750 euro (VAT included), the lease term is 5 years (60 equal instalments), the interest rate is fixed (3.5% per year), the down payment is 20%, i.e. 5,950 euro (VAT included), and the residual value is 1%, the monthly instalment would be around 430 euro (VAT included), and the APR is 4.23%. The total cost of the lease is 2,631.09 euro (VAT included), and the total amount payable under the lease agreement is 32,381.09 euro (VAT included).
