The online outlet Wall-Street.ro held today, May 30, the “Innovation in Banking” conference, with Banca Transilvania as one of the event’s partners. The main topic was the digitalization of services and customer interactions, against the backdrop of technological advances and their impact across all sectors, including banking.

The conference covered a broad agenda — from the shift to omnichannel in retail banking; the evolution and trends in digital channels; online bank lending: how close we are to making it a reality; how banks are transforming in the digital era; through to the security of interactions with the bank in the digital age. The event brought together bank representatives, developers of IT solutions, marketing and advertising specialists, and managers of companies that use innovative banking solutions, among others.

Digitalization means technology, efficiency and understanding the expectations of new generations of bankers and customers, and it is also a precondition for increasing banking penetration in Romania.
