Two companies from the Banca Transilvania Financial Group were today awarded by the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) for their performance on the capital market in 2020:

🔹 Banca Transilvania, the most traded stock on the BVB Main Market in 2020;

🔹 BT Capital Partners, 2020 Participant of the Year in the bonds segment.

The bank was represented by Mihaela Nadasan, Deputy CEO, Financial Institutions and Capital Markets, and BT Capital Partners by Daniela Secara, CEO.

BVB presented a total of 16 awards to the best-performing listed companies, brokerage firms, and pension and investment funds.

Banca Transilvania is the first Romanian bank to be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (1997). In 2020, BT contributed to Romania’s upgrade from frontier to emerging market status and was included in the FTSE Global Equities Index Series. Also last year, it helped introduce a new occupation in Romania, Investor Relations Specialist/Director, which the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection added to the Romanian Classification of Occupations.

BT has close to 70% Romanian capital and more than 34,000 direct individual shareholders.
