Banca Transilvania, as a supporter of the creative industries, is partnering with NOD Makerspace on MATER, the first materials and resources library in Romania and in Southeast Europe, dedicated to the creative industries: architects, designers, illustrators, visual artists, etc. It is in Bucharest, in the former Cotton Factory, at 160 Splaiul Unirii, and it opened on October 13 this year.

MATER is about know-how, access to education and to NOD’s creative community. Alongside a collection of over 10,000 materials and resources, it is also a place for coworking, courses and workshops.

Details:

• The space is organized into 3 main areas: the library, an event space and a hub.
• Access is free for the first two visits to MATER; after that, membership is EUR 120 per year. For students, access is free with a student ID.
• Workshops led by NOD partners are scheduled for October 16–20 this year. On October 19 this year, Banca Transilvania will host at MATER the event Goodies for Startups and Small Creative Businesses.
