Banca Transilvania is supporting Making the Right Moves, an event organized by the publication Profit.ro on November 28 in Bucharest. The special guest, making his first appearance in Romania, is Garry Kasparov, the greatest chess player to date, a former world champion for 15 consecutive years and the youngest world champion in the history of chess.

Garry Kasparov will speak at the event about strategic thinking and how to apply it in business, about the difference between tacticians and strategists, as well as about the role of continuous learning and self-analysis. On his appearance at the conference, Kasparov told the organizers: “I will challenge you to step into the shoes of leaders and those in command across different fields — from presidential candidates to CEOs to ship commanders in wartime. It’s not the magnitude of a decision or the level of authority; it’s the process. When we are done, you will be more aware than ever of your abilities and strengths — or weaknesses — as a decision-maker.
