Banca Transilvania is supporting this edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival, held in Cluj-Napoca from May 27 to June 4, through direct involvement in the following events:

Weekend at the Castle, May 28–29, Banffy Castle, Bontida

• May 28, between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM: a range of creative activities for families with children aged 7 to 14.
• May 28, 2016, 8:30 PM: TAMBOURS EN FEU performance and a special screening of “The Show of Shows” (soundtrack: Sigur Ros – Iceland)
• May 29, 2016, 9:45 PM: Cine-concert “Haxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages”, with live music by the Transilvania Philharmonic, with the composer Bardi Johansson (Iceland) in attendance

Cine-concerts, May 29 and 31, Students' Culture House

• May 29, 2016, 7:00 PM: “Zone Libre Revisite 2001” (Belgium), a remix of Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”
• May 31, 2016, 8:00 PM: “A Hawk and a Hacksaw” (USA), a special screening of Sergei Paradjanov’s “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors”

Banca Transilvania will also present the award for the best film in the TIFF Local Competition on June 1, at 7:00 PM, at Cinema Arta.
