Banca Transilvania, together with Biziday.ro, Electrogrup and SIF Moldova, is offering two scholarships to the EMBA University of Hull, a 100% British business school in Cluj-Napoca. The competition is open to candidates who meet the EMBA entry criteria: at least 3 years of management experience after graduating; a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record; and an advanced level of English.

Applications for these scholarships are made on www.biziday.ro between 21 February and 3 March this year, and the winners will be announced on 9 March this year — directly, on BT’s website and on the EMBA University of Hull website.

The steps to enter the scholarship competition are:

• a 400–500-word essay in English on the benefits of pursuing an EMBA and how the knowledge gained in the program will be used professionally and personally
• a CV in English, highlighting academic achievements, accomplishments in business and beyond, and contributions to society or specific communities
• two references in English from two people the applicant works with. Requirements: the references must be on company letterhead and include contact details

The business school was launched in 2015 through a partnership between academia and business: Babeș-Bolyai University, the University of Hull, Banca Transilvania and Electrogrup. The EMBA University of Hull is internationally accredited by AMBA (The Association of MBAs) and AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
