BRD Pensii clients with savings in the BRD privately managed pension fund — who, following the acquisition made by the Banca Transilvania Financial Group in November 2025, are now part of BT’s financial ecosystem — can access Pillar II pension fund information in the BT Pay app.
Thanks to the latest BT Pay feature, customers can access the following details:
- the total amount accumulated in the pension fund;
- contribution history;
- return;
- the number of fund units held.
The Pillar II pension administrator can be found on the ASF website
On the Financial Supervisory Authority platform, people can find out which pension fund (Pillar II) they contribute to, bearing in mind that at the start of their professional activity, allocation to a fund was done automatically, or it may have been changed later on. Knowing the administrator and the fund is relevant for tracking how pension savings evolve and for making informed decisions about managing them.
Over 10 billion lei under management at the Banca Transilvania Group
Pillar II and Pillar III assets managed by companies in the Banca Transilvania Financial Group have exceeded 10 billion lei, representing the pension savings of over 825,000 Romanians. Nearly 10,000 people have joined Pillar III via the BT Pay app since August 2025, when this functionality was launched.
The company BRD Pensii and the BRD privately managed pension fund (Pillar II) will be renamed to reflect their affiliation with the Banca Transilvania Financial Group, with BT to announce the new names publicly once the necessary approvals are received from the Financial Supervisory Authority.
