Banca Transilvania supports education through Skills & Education, the only lending programme with an external guarantee from the European Investment Fund (EIF), designed for businesses in the education sector. Kindergartens, schools, universities and companies that invest in employee training can obtain financing.  

Loans are available up to 2 million euros or 9.7 million lei per client, with maturities from 1 to 8 years. 80% of the loan is guaranteed by the European Investment Fund.

The institution or company applying for financing under the Skills & Education programme must be registered and operate in Romania. It must also have up to 500 employees and no outstanding tax liabilities. The first step taken by the Banca Transilvania Financial Group in this direction this year was in February, with the launch, through BT Mic, of the Education Loan. It is intended to support private schools and kindergartens that need financing, providing access, in just a few days, to amounts of up to 200,000 lei, also guaranteed by the European Investment Fund.
