The Real Estate Alternative Investment Fund BT Property, managed by BT Asset Management SAI SA, is expanding its retail footprint with the acquisition, from Oasis Group, of the Prima Shops Oradea retail park. It covers over 9,000 sq m and is located in a strategic area of the city.

BT Asset Management SAI SA announced in May 2024 the fund’s entry into the retail market, as well as its objective to expand. Since its launch in 2022, BT Property has reached assets of EUR 40.4 million. To date, the fund has invested in real estate assets offering premium standards in the retail and office segment, as well as in healthcare properties.

BT Property is intended for professional investors and is established for an indefinite period. It is the first alternative investment fund specializing in real estate investments, authorized in Romania by the Financial Supervisory Authority.

BT Asset Management SAI SA is one of the leaders of the Romanian investment management market and is part of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group. The company manages 17 investment funds, with investments across a broad range of financial instruments, including real estate. Asset management operations began in 2005 with 500 clients and have grown to over 250,000 investors and approximately RON 6 billion in assets under management.
