Gabriela Nistor, Deputy CEO, Retail Banking, at Banca Transilvania, received an award at the Women Who Change Romania gala, organized by FINMEDIA and Piata Financiara magazine in Bucharest, on 8 October this year.

The event celebrated professionals with outstanding careers who are part of the female elite of Romania’s top management. The gala was attended by representatives from the financial and banking sector, IT, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, etc.

"The story behind my career is what brought me to the fore, so to speak. My path at the bank started at the counter, in Banca Transilvania’s first branch, in Cluj-Napoca. It continued with new responsibilities and, above all, new dreams. I went on to work in lending, I was the bank’s first marketing director, then I moved on to cards and retail product development. It has been—and still is—a lot of work and dedication, but also a lot of heart," said Gabriela Nistor on receiving this title.
