Horia Ciorcila, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Transilvania, Omer Tetik, BT CEO, and Aurel Bernat, CEO of BT Asset Management, were named among the most admired people in business. The awards were presented at the CEO Awards 2020 Gala, organized by Business Magazin at the end of October this year. The event brought together executives and company founders, and this year’s theme was Advice to my younger self.

Based on nominations from Romania’s business community, Business Magazin compiled two rankings, 100 Most Admired CEOs in Romania and 100 Top Young Managers. BT representatives ranked in the top 10 of these lists.

The world is changing constantly, at an unprecedented pace, so young people should strive to be as adaptable as possible, open to change and to trying things that will give them different experiences. Choose your friends well; surround yourself with quality people who can help you grow and from whom there is always something to learn.

Education, in all its forms, is essential — to be as well prepared as possible, but also to keep an open mind and the courage to overcome challenges. Life sets the real challenge for us".

Aurel Bernat:

"It is very important in life to try. But when you realize the direction isn’t right — in business or personally — let it end quickly so you have time to correct course.
