Update, March 8: The application deadline has been extended; it is now Monday, March 13 inclusive.

Between March 1 and 8 this year, a campaign is underway to award another scholarship worth EUR 15,000 for the University of Hull EMBA, covering the full two-year duration of the program. The campaign partners are Ziarul Financiar, SIF Moldova and Electrogrup.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to enroll in the EMBA program: at least 3 years of management experience after completing their undergraduate studies, a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record, and advanced proficiency in English.

The scholarship application requires the following:

• a 400–500 word essay in English on the benefits of pursuing an EMBA and how the knowledge gained in the program will be used professionally and personally
• a CV in English, highlighting academic achievements, accomplishments in business and beyond, as well as contributions to society or specific communities
• two references in English from two people the applicant works with. Requirements: the references must be on company letterhead and include contact details

The EMBA scholarship recipient will be announced on March 13 this year.

EMBA classes are held in Cluj-Napoca and are taught by faculty from the University of Hull. Currently, more than 50 Romanian managers and entrepreneurs are studying at the business school in Cluj-Napoca, from top and middle management, across industries such as engineering, banking, brokerage, IT, energy, healthcare, human resources, architecture, telecommunications, consulting, education and audit.
